Our quality Australian steel cylinders are lined with vitreous enamel and come with an anode to extend longevity.
Envirosun insulates tanks with high pressure-injected high-density polyurethane thermal insulation. This is far more effective than the older insulating materials such as fibreglass, straw or wool. Heat is retained longer by polyurethane, it also adds reinforcement to the structure.
Envirosun solar hot water systems are rated to operate at high pressure. Not only does this deliver more hot water faster, it also allows hot water to be delivered effectively at multiple facets at the same time.
The collectors are made from Chrome copper rather than the standard aluminium. Copper has double the efficiency in absorbing heat in comparison to aliminium. Copper is more corrosion resistance which is extremely beneficial when in a salt water spray exposure area The black copper absorber is also treated with a highly selective surface called “Black Chrome” to provide maximum efficiency to absorb energy & stop re-radiation to keep heat in the panel. The copper absorber panels is ultrasonically welded to a copper riser to create a seamless bond for the most efficient heat retention.
We only use the highest quality German-made solar hot water controllers
Behind the LED screen is the Envirosun multiprocessor controller. This controls the system and displays the following information on the LED interface.
Shows the temperature inside the solar panel
Your storage tank temperature
Indicates any issues with the temperature sensor
Shows when power is being sent to the pump via a green or red light
An electrical element is positioned in the midpoint of the tank to only heat the top of the tank, the bottom half is available for solar gain. The element only kicks in if the thermostat detects the centre of the tanks has dropped below 60°C. The system is capable of creating heat at double the ambient temperature even without direct sun.
